In summary...
Overall, human cloning is a very important topic and is linked back to our society and economy in many ways. By allowing human cloning to be legal, people in our society may be affected as they may feel that their identity is no longer safe and could be easily lost to a clone ("Cloning"). Many ethical and moral issues may also arise ("Cloning"). However, some people in our society may also benefit from human cloning. This is because of the various illnesses and disorders that therapeutic cloning have the potential to treat (Smith). For example, people who are suffering from leukemia could be treated as scientists would be able to clone bone marrow for patients (Smith). Furthermore, human cloning could open up many jobs and research positions if it was legalized. Jobs that are related to human cloning include geneticist and bioethicist. Geneticists study how genes are linked back to a person’s physical traits and how genetic disorders are passed on ("Geneticist "). Bioethicists inform others about moral issues and help provide solutions to them ("Bioethicist").
